The twin room boasted a good-sized en-suite and was clean, with crisp linens that made for a comfortable night. The traditional pub atmosphere added charm, while the outdoor seating area offered a nice spot to unwind after a long day.
Parking requires keen awareness, as it’s only available on the street, which could be daunting if you’ve got valuable gear in the car. The decor feels a bit dated and could use a refresh, especially the carpets that show significant wear. Breakfast choices were limited, amounting to only white toast, which left something to be desired. sharing the space with other revelers returning at odd hours could disrupt a peaceful night, especially on busy weekends.

I stayed in a Double Room with Private Bathroom. The room was clean and cozy, which felt really welcoming. Bed was comfy, and everything I needed was there. The little touches like tea and good Wi-Fi were appreciated. Only downside was the curtains letting in too much light in the morning.

Great local atmosphere and accommodating staff
I had a wonderful one-night stay with a very welcoming atmosphere full of locals, making it an enjoyable experience. The staff were incredibly helpful, accommodating my late arrival by preparing a meal for us even though the kitchen was closing. My room was clean and comfortable, providing a perfect base for exploring the area, though the thin curtains let in some morning light. a delightful stay with a generous breakfast to boot!

The warm and accommodating staff provided reassurance about parking my car overnight, alleviating my initial concerns. The twin room was clean and comfortable, although the decor could benefit from a refresh. Breakfast was decent but lacked variety, and the noise from late-night revelers disrupted my sleep. Still, it was a convenient stop during a busy weekend, and the local pub nearby served up a satisfactory meal.

I had a lovely quiet stay with a friendly welcome, and the cleanliness of the rooms was spot on, making it easy for me to explore nearby Tyne Green Park, which offers beautiful views and great walking paths, as well as Hexham Abbey, a captivating landmark that’s just a short stroll away.

Had a fantastic time here with friends! We explored nearby attractions and enjoyed a lovely stay. The staff were super accommodating, and the room was clean with a hot shower every day. Perfect place to relax after visiting the countryside.
The food options were a bit limited after a long day out. Would have preferred more variety in the menu.
